The Dubai Calendar on Saturday unveiled the list of cultural and entertainment events and activities that will take place from October to December 2021.

The Dubai Calendar is part of the Dubai Tourism and Business Marketing Department (Dubai Tourism) events schedule.

From October to December 2021, Dubai will host an action-packed roster of musical superstars, including YouTube stars, theatrical performances, and sporting and lifestyle events.

“This lineup of events will be complemented by the plethora of events that will also take place at Expo 2020 Dubai,” according to a press release.

The emirate was one of the first cities in the world to restart the events industry in strict compliance with security measures, such as contactless payment, wearing masks and social distancing, the department said.

Global music events

As one of the most watched Indian musicians on YouTube, award-winning Bollywood icon Neha Kakkar arrives at the Coca-Cola Arena on October 8.

The famous Ukrainian band Okean Elzy are back in Dubai after five years where they wowed the crowds during their first concert. Prepare for a night of nostalgia as the rock band performs all of their hits on the outdoor beach at Jumeirah Beach Hotel on November 11.

Fans will also be able to sing along with X-Factor India alumnus Jubin Nautiyal as he performs his unique blend of Hollywood hits and hit tracks on October 19 at the Coca-Cola Arena.

PaRus International Music Fest will run from November 3-8 for the fifth anniversary edition featuring some of the hottest names in music – Philipp Kirkorov, Leonid Agutin, Diana Arbenina, Basta, BI-2 and the head of poster Andrea Bocelli, as they all take the stage at the Events Arena, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Legendary Russian singer Zivert will make her long-awaited return to Dubai on November 2, performing her upbeat dance-pop numbers as she takes the stage at Atlantis, The Palm.

Entertaining performers

Children and adults alike can enjoy the amazing tale of Alice in Wonderland and the Queen of Hearts, brought to life by a talented cast of actors from London’s West End, aboard the QE2 on October 7th.

From October 14 to 16, history and humor lovers will be able to attend the Horrible Stories: Barmy Britain. Fans can relive Beatlemania with the Fab Four at QE2 on October 28.

QE2 will host an Abba Reunion show on November 10. Rediscover some of Michael Jackson’s greatest hits at QE2 with MJ History on November 25.

Spectacular dance

As part of their 10th anniversary tour, Rock the Ballet, the dance troupe that became famous on the TV show “Dancing with the Stars” will make their Dubai Opera debut on October 8.

From October 27 to 28, Ballet Astana will take spectators on an emotional journey of anguish, sorrow and sacrifice.

From October 29 to 30, Sultan Baybars, the Astana Ballet of Kazakhstan will unveil the story of Az-Zahir Rukin Ad-Din Baybars, the boy who was captured and sold as a slave but became one of the commanders of the most revered army of the 13th century. .

The Dubai Opera will be filled with Tchaikovsky’s most recognizable songs, as dancers from the Russian State Ballet bring the famous Nutcracker story to life from December 23-25.

From December 2 to 5, attend Boris Eifman’s ballet and the classical music adaptation by Leo Tolstoy Anna Karenina.

Breathtaking productions

The Opera will present a moving adaptation of the Indian love story Devdas from October 20 to 23.

From October 11-12, join the St. Petersburg Chamber Opera for a night of musical wonder, lavish costumes and stunning performances as they perform Rigoletto, a psychological drama based on a novel by the famous French writer Victor Hugo.

Guy Manoukian, the Lebanese-Armenian superstar is making his eagerly awaited return to Dubai on November 19.

From November 22 to 23, discover an evening at the theater with a touch of originality. Dial M for murder is a scary story in which a charismatic husband sets up the perfect crime to get revenge for his rich wife’s infidelity.

The world-famous Russian State Opera brings the timeless masterpiece Tosca to life with a melodramatic tale of love, murder and politics, accompanied by a live orchestra from December 27-29.

Sports tournaments

Mixing up the world of tennis, the Tie Break Tens is an exciting new format of fast-paced shooting in the sport, with no games or sets – just ten-point breakers where every point counts. Taking place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on October 22, eight international players will compete in this knockout tournament to win the huge prize pool of Dh 500,000.

Join the world’s greatest golfers from November 19-23 at Jumeirah Golf Estates for the prestigious DP World Tour Championship, the Grand Final of the Race to Dubai. As part of the tournament, the EDGA Dubai final will return to the United Arab Emirates, seeing eight of the best determined golfers compete for a chance to lift the trophy.

Returning after a year-long hiatus, fans are eagerly awaiting Emirates Airline Dubai 7 from December 2-4. and also adds some high stakes cricket action.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai Sports City from October 17 to November 14. The 25th Karate World Championship will take place from November 13 to 22.

The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) returns from October 29 to November 27. Beach Swim returns to JBR for two new events. The first is scheduled to take place on November 26, while the second will take place on March 26, 2022.

Put on your running shoes and head to residential Dubai South for the Dubai South Run. This fun event takes place on Friday October 29 and is open to athletes of all levels, ages and abilities, from complete beginners to professional sprinters.

Rob Beckett will perform on October 28 at the Dubai World Trade Center. Award-winning comedian Maxime Gasteuil will present his latest French-language show at The Theater in the Mall of the Emirates on October 21-22. Fans of French comedy will have a lot to laugh about in November, while Redouane Bougheraba comes to Dubai in November. 21.
