ARCHERY

Allen County: Allen County Archers hold 3D shots on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month through September. It is open to all facilities. They also run traditional 3D filming sessions on the third Saturday of the month throughout the year. They are open to all archery equipment. BASKETBALL

Fort Wayne, Indiana: Gym Rats and Indy Heat will host a pair of free clinics for coaches of all skill levels at SportONE Fieldhouse on Saturday, October 16, with a range of speakers. Clinics start at 9 a.m. and are moderated by former Indiana Tech trainer Dan Kline. EQUESTRIAN

Cridersville: The Equestrian Therapy Program will be holding its 27th annual Ride A Thon from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 16 at 22532 Bowsher (Grubb) Road. Runners will demonstrate their skills and take part in a Promise Hike. There will be a raffle and silent online auction via manual bid with all proceeds going to the Equestrian Therapy program. GOLF

Lima: UNOH Sport Marketing & Management Golf Outing will take place on Saturday September 18 at Springbrook Golf Club. This year’s event centers around helping fund a trip for a select group of UNOH students to volunteer and gain incredible experience at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles in February. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun departure at 10 a.m. There will also be a dinner where prizes will be awarded. The cost is $ 75 per player, which includes green fees, the cart and two drink tickets. Sponsorships are also available. To find : Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law is sponsoring its first golf outing on Friday October 8 at Findlay Country Club. The event is a fundraiser for the Faculty of Law’s Public Interest Scholarship, which is awarded to qualified UN law students who spend their summers helping those in need. The scholarship helps students pay for their living expenses during the summer. Registration is open for quartets ($ 600) or individuals ($ 150). Each player will receive two drink tickets, a gift bag, a raffle ticket and a lunch. A reception will be held after the release to present the awards and prizes, recognize donors and sponsors and announce the winners of the silent auction. Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have league and doubles openings. Open doubles start at 8:30 am on Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. PICKLEBALL

Lima: Pickleball is played at the Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: The YMCA of Lima hosts pickleball games open from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (by appointment only). FUNCTIONING

Saint-Henri: Early registrations have been opened for the return of the Cooper Farms Turkey Trot 5K, benefiting Everheart Hospice. The race will take place on Saturday November 6. While the race is back in person this year, the post-race hot turkey meal will be served take out. Registration with a long-sleeved Tek shirt is $ 30 for ages 15 and up and $ 15 for ages 14 and under. Registration without shirt will be $ 15 for 15 years old and over and free for 14 years old and under. Prices increase after October 3. Lima: The Lima Sabers have various shooting events. The Thursday trap practice for adults / juniors / beginners takes place at 4 p.m. each week.
