THUNDER BAY, MARATHON, ONTARIO ~~~~~ March 17, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Marathon OPP officers made an arrest in connection with an incident that occurred on Tuesday, March 15, 2022

It is alleged that a house in the community was shot with arrows by a man wielding a compound crossbow.

Ontario Provincial Police officers investigated and made an arrest yesterday, Wednesday March 16, 2022

The alleged suspect was under house arrest for various crimes and also on probation

FRANK MORTON NEEDHAM, 63, has been criminally charged with:

  • – public mischief
  • -carry a weapon that is dangerous to the public
  • -violation of probation (no weapons)
  • -violation of the release order (remain in the residence at all times)

NEEDHAM was held overnight at the OPP Marathon Detachment and appeared in court by telephone this morning, Thursday March 17, 2022, where he requested a French interpreter despite speaking English.

NEEDHAM told the court in French “These accusations are bullshit”

NEEDHAM was transported to Thunder Bay Jail. He has a future court appearance

MARATHON CRIMINAL PLEADS GUILTY TO VIOLATION OF RELEASE ORDER

FRANK NEEDHAM, 62, of Marathon, pleaded guilty to breaching his release order on September 4, 2020

NEEDHAM was supposed to leave town when he was released that day, but did not when he was re-arrested.

On September 16, 2020, NEEDHAM pleaded guilty to the offense and was sentenced to 14 days served, which was increased to 21 days.

NEEDHAM has a 4 page criminal record. His remaining charges of uttering threats against a TBPS officer and dog abuse in Marathon remain pending in court.

Inside Edition sources in Marathon say NEEDHAM has been problematic in their small town with his excessive drinking and meth use.

‘I HATE THUNDER BAY’ – Criminal says in court

ALLEGED MARATHON DOG ABUSE ARRESTED AGAIN BY TBPS OFFICERS.

In accordance with usual practice, the Director of Communications no longer notified the public.

FRANK NEEDHAM, 62, was arrested again by hardworking Thunder Bay police officers last night, Thursday, September 4, 2020, for breaching his bail order.

NEEDHAM was released from jail yesterday and ordered to live in a house on Block 60 of Yawkey Avenue in Marathon, Ontario between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Thunder Bay police found him again in Thunder Bay last night and arrested him.

NEEDHAM spent the night in a jail cell at Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video before Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio this morning Friday September 4, 2020.

NEEDHAM told the court he didn’t want to hitchhike to Marathon and there were no buses running on Thursday.

Crown Attorney Natasha Jerome does not consent to NEEDHAM’s release. He will be remanded to Thunder Bay Jail and will appear in court on Tuesday, September 8, 2020

On learning that he is returning to the prison from which he has just been released, NEEDHAM tells the court: “I HATE THUNDER BAY”

MARATHON DOG ABUSE SPENDING HIS 62ND BIRTHDAY IN JAIL

FRANK NEEDHAM aka MORTIX NEEDHAM ARRESTED FOR THREATENING TBPS OFFICER

THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS OF TBPS WILL NOT INFORM THE PUBLIC AS USUAL ABOUT THIS CRIMINAL WITH A 4 PAGE DOSSIER. HE DOESN’T CARE THAT OFFICERS ARE THREATENED OR ATTACKED

A Marathon man was celebrating his 62nd birthday in Thunder Bay early this morning, Saturday August 29, 2020, when threats were made against a Thunder Bay police officer.

FRANK NEEDHAM aka MORTIX NEEDHAM of Marathon, Ontario has been arrested and criminally charged with:

– Threats made causing the death of a SPTB agent

NEEDHAM was then brought to the Thunder Bay Police Station to continue his birthday festivities in a room, with bars, all alone.

NEEDHAM appeared by audio in Thunder Bay Bail Court this morning before Her Honor Justice of the Peace Zelda Kitchekeesic

NEEDHAM has outstanding criminal charges in Marathon for:

  • -causing unnecessary pain to a dog
  • – hurt a dog
  • – Making threats

NEEDHAM tells the court that he was beaten last night.

Provincial Crown Attorney Piera Pasloski will not consent to NEEDHAM’s release. Duty counsel begins to argue that the Crown should consent.

Pasloski cites his 4-page criminal record filled with offenses and violence. She wants a plan presented before giving her consent.

Upon learning that he would not be released, NEEDHAM declares “THE FUCKING CROWN ME FUCKED UP THE ASS AGAIN”

NEEDHAM is being transported to the Thunder Bay jail to continue his birthday weekend in the city and has his next court appearance on Monday where he will try to set a date for a bail hearing

His Honor Kitchekeesic comments “I think he’s upset because it’s his birthday”
