Gallatin Exchange Dating Game August 28 –

A wide array of fishing gear, camping gear, hunting gear and other outdoor gear will be available at a Gallatin exchange meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 28.

The meeting will take place at the Triple Creek Park Pavilion. Admission is free and doors open at 8 a.m. Kiosks are available for $ 10. A pancake breakfast starts at 7 a.m. $ 5 a plate.

Virtual courses: The Tennessee Wildlife Federation offers free virtual lessons on a wild range of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and camping.

The courses are structured around seasonal themes.

End of duck blind applications: The application period for duck shade designs ended on July 21, with new procedures in place for the issuance of public shades.

Information on the new procedures and other details on waterfowl hunting are available on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency website, www.tnwildlife.org and in the Tennessee Hunting & Trapping Guide.

Raffle tickets: Tickets are on sale for the Tennessee Conservation Raffle, which last year generated more than $ 1 million ($ 1,146,560) for TWRA’s wildlife habitat management and conservation efforts.

A single ticket costs $ 20, two costs $ 30, and 10 costs $ 100.

They can be purchased from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation website. www.twrf.net.

The draws will take place on August 17th.
